It's very telling that as Republicans push wave of new voter suppression laws in states like Georgia they're also going to SCOTUS to strike down the remaining parts of Voting Rights Act that would stop voting discrimination https://t.co/DRVt1GxdYE
Breaking: Georgia Senate Ethics Committee passes GOP bill repealing no-excuse absentee voting, which 1.3 million voters used in 2020 including 450,000 Republicans
This comes after Georgia House passed bill earlier today cutting early voting & restricting mail ballot drop boxes
@AriBerman I honestly want to cry. They want to “END” voter discrimination. Anyone voting anything other than Democrat can kiss my Black a$s next election cycle. I really hate it here man. I really need to move outta GA. Even my MS mom said “You moving there?! GA was really bad growing up.”
@AriBerman That's why @TheDemocrats have to win a lot more House and Senate seats, plus taking control of a lot more state legislatures and Governor positions across the country come the Midterm elections, especially since the 2020 census results will affect congressional boundaries!
