Aside from just practicing more speeches, is there a strategy you find useful to minimize speech crutches like "uhm, you know, anyway," etc?

@ApostateAladdin Have script or notes and map out before hand, how to navigate seamlessly through each point. Don't think too much about time, audience or how do you look.

@ApostateAladdin Instagram livestreams where I ask people to insult me viciously if I use those crutches. That and reading my own books out loud repeatedly. This helps me remember my lines and avoid those crutches, as they are very rarely used in dialogue on paper

@ApostateAladdin Knowing your transitions and main ideas really well. Make sure your speech is well organized, point-by-point instead of all over the place because that leads to those interruptions in thought

@ApostateAladdin I think I heard this somewhere but maybe elongate your words a little bit at the end of sentences, so you have some time to prepare for what you're going to say next
