as part of the forthcoming 10 Year Dementia Plan, to act as the necessary catalyst to develop new dementia treatments.
Due to historic underinvestment, dementia research is playing catch up when compared to other conditions.

We welcome new Government plans to make the UK a world leader in delivering cutting-edge clinical research, but more must be done to ensure this vision is translated in dementia research.
Patients across the UK will benefit from faster diagnosis and quicker access to treatments as a result of a ยฃ175 million investment we're making in clinical research ๐ฌ๐ง ๐ฌ
