Mookie's expression at the end says it all. The Mets' comeback in '86 was unbelievable.

Mets fans gathered around a back-seat limo TV to watch their team 😂 Where's the craziest place you've ever watched a game?

What’s often forgotten when people talk about the 1986 Mets is how SMART they all were about baseball. Decades later, both Darryl and Keith remembered this key bit of strategic information that passed between them on the field.

Mike Tyson’s visit to Shea Stadium was arranged by Tyson and the Mets’ PR groups–and while Tyson really wanted to meet Darryl and Doc, the Met who most wanted to meet Tyson was Ray Knight, who had been a gold gloves boxer in his youth. Note Frank Cashen lurking in the background.
